Linen Thread No. 3

No. 3 linen thread is a medium-weight bookbinding thread designed for strong, everyday binding work. It is thicker than No. 2 thread, providing added durability while still remaining easy to sew through standard bookbinding papers and boards.

This thread is locally spun from natural flax fibre and left unbleached, giving it a traditional look and feel. It is well suited for projects where both strength and visual presence are important.

No. 3 thread is available in our standard natural shades as well as a selection of coloured options, including:
