Geo Tulip Stab Binding Sewing Template

R35.00

Category:

If you want a stab binding pattern that feels a little more modern and eye-catching, the Geo Tulip design is a lovely one to use. It creates a repeating geometric “tulip” style stitch pattern along the binding edge of your cover.

This template set was made to be practical and flexible — you get multiple size options plus a matching graph file for the Stab Binding App.

What’s included

This is a digital download — no physical item will be shipped.

You’ll receive:

  • A4 Portrait Geo Tulip template

  • A5 Portrait Geo Tulip template

  • A5 Landscape Geo Tulip template

  • Design-only pattern page

  • Graph file ready to upload into the Stab Binding App

How you use it

  • Print your chosen size at 100% scale

  • Place the template along your book’s binding edge

  • Clamp your pages and covers so they don’t shift

  • Punch or pierce the marked holes

  • Stitch using the numbered guide — or follow the animated stitch path in the app

Once you’ve done one repeat, the rest of the pattern becomes very rhythmic and easy to continue.

Printing tips (important for accuracy)

  • Print at 100% / Actual Size

  • Turn off “fit to page” or resizing

  • Double-check A4 vs A5 and portrait vs landscape

  • Make sure the template top and bottom line up with your page stack

  • Do a quick test print if you’re unsure

License

For personal use files only.

You can absolutely use the template to create and sell your finished handmade books — just please don’t share, resell, or redistribute the digital template or app graph files themselves.
