The Independent Zigzag – Stab Binding Sewing Template

If you want a stab binding pattern that really pops along the book’s binding edge, the Independent Zigzag is a fun one to use. It gives you a bold zigzag design, but instead of one long, complicated stitch path, you sew two separate zigzag lines — one along the top row of holes and one along the bottom.

It’s called “independent” because each zigzag line is stitched on its own with its own piece of thread.
